The traditional Log Cabin quilt is the perfect follow-up after taking a basic beginner class.  Using easy strip piecing techniques these blocks go together quickly enabling you to make a throw quilt in a very short amount of time.  Participants in the class can choose to make whatever size quilt they prefer.  Ours is 64" x 78", a great lap size.  In the first class session you will learn to construct the block, and in the second you will begin to construct the quilt top using the layout of your choice.  Prior quilt making knowledge is a must as final construction and completion of the quilt will not be done in class.
