This technique is free motion embroidery using your sewing
machine and a simple wooden hoop. The motif consists of a charming
little tropical bird on his perch. The
stitching techniques are taken from the book of the same title
by thread painting artist, Terry White. Mary Lynn Crail, your
teacher, actually studied with Terry. (Several of you
have admired the wonderful rendition of the Cabin she did that hangs in
the shop.) The best part of this class is that you get to use your
individual creativity and color with beautiful threads outside of the
lines!
(For this class, you must have a sewing machine in good working order with
feed dogs that drop. A free motion or darning foot is also
required. Some sewing experience is helpful.)

Fee $35 plus book, kit, and supplies. We need at least one week's prior reservation for this class in order to collect the supplies for the kit.
