Joanne Rigsbee, an accomplished appliqué quilter, is teaching her popular class at Cabin Arts using the Sharon Schamber preparation method for appliqué and a venture into direct cutwork appliqué.

Students will learn how to prepare fabric for appliqué using a glue stick and a stabilizer that both wash away. There is no need to remove anything like you must for freezer paper.  You will experience cutwork appliqué following a design that has been transferred to the top of your fabric.  You will needle-turn the top fabric under.  You're sure to love learning these wonderful new ways to add a special look to your quilts!
